Combi-wall is a combination of large-diameter steel pipe piles and sheet piles installed to form a retaining wall structure. Pipe piles provide resistance to overturning forces and the steel sheet piles serve as in-fill between the pipes.

What is the Hz combination wall system?
H-pile in combi walls can be divided into following forms
Advantages of using H-pile in combi walls
Combi-walls can be left in place permanently or elements can be extracted and re-used when no longer needed.Combi-walls play an important role in the field of architecture. This article mainly introduce show to install combi walls.
Hz combi-walls system, also known as HZM king pile, fulfills two different structural functions: retaining members for soil and hydro static pressures and bearing piles for vertical loads. The interlocks are welded to the H king pile to connects the Hz combi-walls to the sheet pile. The sheet piles are usually shorter than the H king piles combined together.
The king piles are designed to carry substantial vertical loads in addition to the normal bending loads. They are widely used in port constructions and deep foundations because of their high bending resistance and stiffness. The outstanding feature of the Hz combi-walls system is the extensive range of possible combinations. We can design for our customers according to their requirements. Hz combi-walls consists of H pile and double z pile, which will provide high section performance in marine projects, especially the shipyard, harbor and port construction projects, where they require very long piles.
The H pile includes welded H beam and a straight web pile welded onto its top. The dimensions of our welded H beams are various for your selection. The straight web pile looks like a hat on the H beam, forming the interlocking system.
1.Double H Pile which means H pile connects with H pile through interlocking system.
2.H Pile with double z pile.
3.Double H pile with double z pile.
The primary piles, or "king piles", of Hz combi-walls can also be used as bearing piles. and can bear high vertical loads, e.g. crane loads. The intermediary sheet piles act mainly as soil-retaining and load-transferring elements.
Combi-walls provide a cost-effective shoring alternative to the secant wall while providing significantly more load bearing capacity than a sheet pile wall.Combi-walls are effective in temporary applications as the steel elements can be easily removed and re-used once the structure is no longer needed.
Combi-walls are a viable alternative in many applications where secant or sheet pile walls are used.Steel sheet piles can easily be combined to form special arrangements and create systems with large bending resistance. Combi-walls built up with box piles (or HZ-M, or steel tubes) and standard sheet piles are one of these solutions.
H-pile in combi-walls which are the main structural member and an infill sheet pile as an intermediate member to transfer the loads and provide a cutoff. These can provide superior structural properties compared to sheet piles alone.H-pile in combi-walls which are the main structural member and may or may not have an infill sheet pile as an intermediate member to transfer the loads to the King Pipe Piles and also provide a cutoff.
The construction of back row piles, front row piles, tie beam, diagonal bracing and earth wall slab of H-pile in combi-walls support structure can be crossed, which can improve the construction efficiency and reduce the construction difficulty, and help to ensure the stability of the slope during construction.
