I. Project Introduction
This project was designed to use tubular piles and normal sheet piles to build up a combi wall, but considering to the convenience during installation, the design finally had been changed by the project owner to use Box Piles, which consists of two pieces of U type sheet pile.
This project required a very short delivery time due to the installation had to be finished before the rainy season is coming. In 30 days, we had finished the production of 2,100 tons U type sheet pile, forming box piles by full welding job, coating, and around 100MT of packing frame.
We had also sent two of our engineers to give installation guidance on the jobsite, who had been spoken highly of by the contractor and project owner – Madagascar Agriculture Ministry.
